Trominier Tunnel

The Trominier Tunnel leads from the gate in Trominier through the insides of the mountains to the dam of the Vermunt Lake. The starting point is the Vermuntbahn in Partenen. With the cablecar, you travel up to a height of around 1,700 metres to the Trominier mountain station. There you will find the entrance to the 1.5 km-long tunnel. Surrounded by a unique background of rocks you can walk through and meet "Gustav", the talking locomotive and a simulator for the blowing of tunnels.

Dress warm! The constant cool temperature of the tunnel rock has its scarily beautiful effect.
