Behind the Kristbergbahn mountain station begins the 1 1/4 hour ascent through the mountain forest; half an hour further, gently rising through increasingly sparse forest, over the ridge between boulders, the summit cross of Muttjöchle (2074 m) is reached. Magnificent view of the Rätikon, Verwall, Silvretta mountains as well as the Lechtal Alps. From the summit, descend briefly, then continue flat towards Sonnenkopf (mountain restaurant). From Sonnenkopf (observe signposts) to the Upper - Lower Wasserstubenalpe to the hunting lodge. At the crossroads turn right over the forest road past the viewpoint Wild Ried and the Kneipp facility Siebenbrünnele to the Kristbergbahn mountain station. A wonderful hike, especially in autumn.
