Marathon – The classic

The main competition leads through the impressive Verwall European nature reserve. Demanding, spectacular scenery - an alpine marathon that challenges both body and mind.
Ideal for experienced runners looking for nature and a challenge.
T33 Trail
33 km | 1,200 m elevation gain | Start: Innerkapell (shuttle) | Finish: St. Anton am Arlberg
Technically challenging and varied - with crisp climbs, rooty trails and fantastic views. The perfect competition for trail runners who want to aim high but don't want to run the full marathon distance.
Panoramatrail
16 km | Start and finish: St. Anton am Arlberg
Beginner-friendly, but anything but boring: the panoramic run offers fantastic views and a real trail feeling - over a shorter distance, but with a lot of character.
Hiking experience
On the original route | Silbertal → St. Anton
Leisurely, yet challenging: the hiking experience takes you along the marathon route - without time pressure, but with plenty of nature. Ideal for sporty hiking fans who want to take on a challenge.

Top sporting performance and pure nature at the 22nd edition
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the 22nd edition of the Raiffeisen Montafon Arlberg Marathon took place in glorious weather - with around 900 motivated runners, hiking enthusiasts and young talents.
The cross-border route through the Verwall Natura 2000 area once again offered everything that makes the hearts of mountain sports fans beat faster: a unique natural landscape, challenging trails and a great atmosphere along the entire route - from Tyrol to Vorarlberg.

The classic marathon distance of 42.195 km and 1,250 m elevation gain demanded everything from the participants - and rewarded them with unforgettable impressions between Silbertal and St. Anton.
