Breathtaking 42.195 kilometers and 1,250 vertical meters

In 2025, the Raiffeisen Montafon Arlberg Marathon will once again start in St. Anton am Arlberg - and lead along natural forest and hiking trails through the protected Natura 2000 area of Verwall to the finish in Silbertal in Montafon.

Immediately after the start, the route runs car-free towards Verwallsee, then continues along the idyllic mountain path to Silbertaler Winterjöchle - one of the most impressive passages to cross over from Tyrol to Vorarlberg. Past the Langsee lake, Alpe Fresch and Alpe Gafluna, the route heads out of the valley.

From the Fellimännle alpine hut, the run challenges you once again: with additional meters in altitude towards Wasserstubenalpe and Wildried. Then comes the final downhill - past Oberbuchen and Unterbuchen, down to the Teufelsbach waterfall.

The last few meters lead in a short loop through the village center of Silbertal - straight to the finish line.
A run that inspires with its landscape and atmosphere.
