Röbischlucht via ferrata

The Röbischlucht via ferrata, with a difficulty rating of B/C, is perfect for beginners and children. A short hike leads to the start of the via ferrata, which winds its way up through the gorge just above a stream. An impressive natural spectacle alongside the roaring water. The return route leads via the scenic Ronggalpe to Gargellen.

Meeting point: 9:45 a.m. or 1:45 p.m. Ticket hall at the Gargellen mountain railway valley station

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours (actual climbing time: approx. 45 minutes)

Registration: by 7:00 p.m. the day before

Price: 20% discount with the Montafon guest card (Montafon guest card must be presented). Free for guests from BergePLUS partner establishments (Montafon guest card with BergePLUS imprint must be presented)

Equipment: Closed shoes with good tread soles; warm clothing (hat, gloves, etc.) is recommended in cold temperatures

Uncertain weather: In wet weather and on wet rock (due to rain in the morning), climbing is highly unlikely to take place (risk of slipping) – in this case, the booking will be canceled free of charge, but there will be no alternative date in addition to the regular dates.

How to Get There

• By Public Transportation: Get off at Gargellen Schafbergbahn (vmobil.at)

• By Car: Take the B188 towards St. Gallenkirchen, turn off at St. Gallenkirchen onto the B192 towards Gargellen and continue to the Schafbergbahn Gargellen.

• State-certified mountain guide (IVBV)
• Via ferrata sets (including harness, helmet, and gloves)

Registration is binding. If you are unable to attend at short notice, please cancel your registration with Montafon Tourism, tel. +43 50 6686 or info@montafon.at, so that another guest can take your place. Our via ferrata tours are led by state-certified Montafon ski and mountain guides.

Refunds for cancellations by customers:
Please note that a 5% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations of tours that have been booked and paid for.

Important note:
Our BergePLUS tours take place with a minimum of 3 registered participants.The regular registration deadline is always 7:00 p.m. on the day before the tour. However, if the minimum number of 3 people is not reached by 3:00 p.m. on the same day, the tour in question will be automatically closed and registration will no longer be possible. Guests who have already booked will of course be informed by us in this case. The children's program is exempt from this rule – it takes place with just one child. Your BergePLUS team
