Skiing history was made here back in the 80s - today, the Grasjoch cable car connects the Hochjoch and the Silvretta to form one of the largest ski resorts in Austria. Wide pistes, sunny carving slopes and untracked deep-snow routes make the area a freeride hotspot. In summer, high-altitude hikes and traditional Maisäße invite you to explore. With a bit of luck, you may come across the rare Montafon stone sheep, which are bred here as part of the natural and cultural heritage.
