Muntafuner Gaglaweg*

*We are talking about the "Montafon Children's Trails", translated from Montafonese as "Muntafuner Gaglaweg".

Traveling with Erna - Come on an adventure trip through the Montafon!

You'll find everything you need in the Gaglaweg rucksack, which you can borrow for a deposit (rental contract) from one of our tourist information offices or citizen service points. There is a puzzle to solve on each trail and for each puzzle solved you will receive one of eleven Erna souvenir glasses as a gift. The more puzzles you solve, the bigger your collection will be. So let's get going!

You will find this equipment in the Gaglaweg backpack

Use the tape measure to take precise measurements. The binoculars already tell you what to do. You should recognize things in the distance. How fast can you run? The stopwatch will tell you. The compass shows you the cardinal points. Are you running south or north? Where is a certain place? Is it in the west or the east? The thermometer tells you how cold or warm the water is. You can use the pencil to mark your answer in the brochure that you receive free of charge.

How does it work with the different utensils?

Measuring tape

The tape measure tells you exactly how long or short something is.

Binoculars

Use your binoculars to bring objects that are far away very close to you.

Stopwatch

Write down the time it took you to complete the race. Maybe you are faster than Erna.

Thermometer

You should hold the thermometer in the water for at least two minutes at each station.

Pencil

Check off your answers straight away so that you don't forget anything.

Magnifying glass

With the magnifying glass, you can see a little larger and thus recognize much more.

Crayons

Have you already discovered the coloring picture in the Erna brochure? Then quickly grab the Gaglaweg coloring pencils and let your creativity run wild.

Compass
  1. Stand so that you can see your destination with the naked eye.
  2. Hold the compass on the flat of your hand or put it down so that the needle can move freely.
  3. The red needle is now pointing north.
  4. Turn the housing so that the "N" mark is above the red needle.
  5. "E" stands for east, "S" stands for south, "N" stands for north and "W" stands for west.
  6. The number that now points in the direction of your destination is the correct cardinal point.

Don't forget...

... pack a drink to quench your thirst, a snack for your ravenous appetite and, of course, sun protection.

So Gagla - Let's go!

Each tour has its own theme and leads through varied landscapes - from flowering meadows to mysterious forests. Perfect for families who want to experience the Montafon mountains with all their senses.
