Tourbeschreibung

Gargellen cable car valley station – downvalley along the Suggadin – Borstboden – above Haus Sursilva – Gargellen cable car valley station

Description

The snowshoe routes are in open terrain. Use at your own risk.

The deeply snow-covered village of Gargellen is especially charming due to its high altitude. On this route, snowshoe hikers can expect excellent views of the opposite panorama with the Maisäss landscapes Rongg and Röbi, also the mountain peaks Riedkopf, Rotspitze, and even the Reutehorn with a view downvalley. In the southwest or upvalley direction rises the mighty Madrisa, the local mountain of Gargellen, as well as the Ritzenspitze.

Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to St. Gallenkirch. There you turn right into Gargellnerstraße and follow it to Gargellen to the Gargellen cable cars.
