The path starts at the mountain station of the Golmerbahn on the Latschätzer Höhenweg. Then you follow more than 20 stations of Golmi’s research trail. At the 4th station (Eagle’s View), you leave the Latschätzer Höhenweg and follow the path, partly via switchbacks, downhill to the middle station of the Golmerbahn.
The marmot "Golmi" guides you over a distance of about 3 km through its habitat and explains interesting facets of the animal and plant world in the mountain forest to both young and adult hikers. The goal is to encourage children to engage respectfully with the natural environment they pass through. Nature is actively and playfully discovered with all senses. More than twenty experience stations bring the exciting topic of nature closer in a playful manner. Allowed is what interests you… Pulling, turning, pressing, flaps, pushing, poking… Fun and action elements (children’s lift, footbridges, water play area etc.) complete the offer, which will delight young and old alike. Places to refresh: Berghof Golm (next to mountain station), Haus Matschwitz (next to middle station) or Holzschopf (next to valley station Latschau).
