Hiking: Hike in the footsteps of alpinism in Gaschurn

On this hike, you will learn exciting details about the development of alpine tourism in the Montafon. The trail leads you gently uphill between Gaschurn and Partenen and offers impressive views of the Vallüla. Along the way, you will learn more about famous mountaineering pioneers such as Franz Josef Battlogg, who praised Gaschurn as the “vestibule to the great mountain world.”

Meeting point: 9:30 a.m. at the Gaschurn Tourist Information Office.

Route: Gaschurn Tourist Information Office – Trantauas – Rifa – Partenen – Kanzel – Gaschurn Tourist Information Office.

Duration: approx. 3.5 hours (pure walking time: approx. 3 hours).

Ascent and descent: approx. 250 m

Refreshments: in the center of Gaschurn

Registration: by 7:00 p.m. the day before

Price: 20% discount with the Montafon Guest Card (Montafon Guest Card must be presented), Free for guests from BergePLUS partner establishments (Montafon guest card with BergePLUS imprint must be presented)

The tours can take place in any weather, short-term route changes are possible (depending on the weather)
Dogs are not allowed on this tour.
The hike is not possible with strollers or handcarts.
