Hiking: On mule tracks to the traces of the Montafon stone sheep

The trail provides information about the history and special features of this breed of sheep, which is native to the area and was threatened with extinction. The tour leads from the village centre of St. Gallenkirch down to the Ill, slightly uphill out of the valley between forest and pastures, then back into the valley and back to the village centre via beautiful viewpoints. You may well see stone sheep along the way.

Duration: 4 hours (pure walking time approx. 3:30 hours)

Registration: until 19:00 the day before

Equipment: Bring a rucksack with food and drink as well as rain and sun protection, hiking boots with treaded soles required
