Tourbeschreibung

Due to the many different variants, this practice via ferrata is especially suitable for training purposes as well as for beginner and advanced courses for all age groups.

Description

Next to the Rifa basin, between Gaschurn and Partenen, you will find the Rifa practice via ferrata in the eponymous climbing garden. With a well-secured beginner via ferrata A/B, it is ideal as a practice area for first experiences on rock – also suitable for children. Several variants in the C range promise variety for advanced via ferrata climbers. A highlight for everyone is certainly the suspension bridge as well as the impressive view of the Vallüla (2,813 meters) at the valley end of Montafon. Around the climbing garden, a spacious area with water playground, barbecue area, and more invites you to linger.

Ascent: Only a few steps from the parking lot.

Descent: The via ferrata is designed as a loop course, so you can ascend and descend via any variant.

Approach

Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to Gaschurn. Just before the tunnel leading to Partenen, turn right and then park in the immediately following parking lot.
